The book really does "skip over" Edmund's treachery...and Peter really is just made a King -- no "earning his stripes" or anything. That's just how the story goes. We saw the movie last night -- I thought they had excellent adherence to the important plot lines; the actors were excellent (Lucy, Tumnus, the White Witch, Edmund -- I wasn't as crazy about Peter and Susan, but hey, I didn't really like them in the books either.....) I give it a very strong 4 out of 5 (the battle scene was a little long; some of the acting could have been brought up to par....)</p> <p><p></p> darling, have you not read the book?
