Henning Mankell
Anyone read him? I saw someone reading Before the Frost in Berkeley this weekend; this was the first time I’d heard of him since reading Geoff Pullum’s description. I’m very intrigued. I may have to pick one of his books up.
(Frost is even on the redoubtable Cosma Shalizi’s mystery-novel to-read list, so it can’t be all bad.)
